The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Deacon’s Secret Betrayal Blindsides Sheila — Taylor Faces the Fallout

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Sheila Carter Sharpe’s (Kimberlin Brown) effusive praise made Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) uncomfortable, which was understandable.
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) wanted to pursue romance with Taylor, but Budig’s character redirected his focus back to his wife.
Taylor didn’t cross any romantic lines with Deacon. While she wouldn’t have hugged him as warmly if Sheila had been in the room, Taylor didn’t lead Deacon to believe she wanted more than commiseration.
In contrast, Deacon is withholding information from his wife. He’s doing so because Sheila withheld Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) existence from him for a long period. Deacon used that reveal as motivation to seek comfort in Taylor’s mind and heart.
Seeking Taylor Hayes’ Help Was A Marital Breach?
Seeking Taylor’s professional input, in and of itself, didn’t break any marital vows. Sheila favors Taylor, far more than any other character who is connected to the Forrester family other than her son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and her grandson, Hayes Finnegan (Bryan David Garlick).
However, Taylor didn’t have to agree to accept Deacon as a patient. That required the audience to suspend disbelief. Yet, after that leap was made, it wasn’t a stretch to believe that both poor souls would find solace with each other.
Taylor was, by far, the more wronged party. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) broke their engagement and quickly remarried Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). In contrast, Deacon was bent way out of shape because Sheila was put in a very awkward position by her irrationally reckless granddaughter.

Deacon Sharpe Wants Reconciliation To Endure
Sheila would still be living alone if Deacon were done with her. But he’s back, he said his peace, and all is tenderly well.
Brown’s brilliance as an actor includes having a wide swath of the audience feel for her character. Here’s a killer, like her granddaughter, who also shot Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in the recent past and wanted to leave Finn for dead after accidentally shooting him, who generates sympathy.
Why is that?
Well, Sheila is a villain. But her bond with Deacon has softened her heart and created a sense of self-discipline where little to no discipline existed previously. She wants to be a better person because of her husband, which leads to the next consideration.
Sheila Carter Sharpe’s Reaction Is Important
If Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) has her way, Sheila won’t be at Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) remarriage ceremony. That would be sad for her and hopefully not more than that.
Sheila told Deacon that she would like to attend the wedding, not knowing that Beth had just told Hope and Liam that Brown’s character makes her feel weird and that she doesn’t want her there. The soon-to-be-remarried couple was surprised by that request.
Part of Sheila’s redemption storyline includes her not reacting as everyone expects. So, hopefully, she’s able to keep herself in check if Beth’s request is honored. Deacon’s response will also demonstrate how much forgiveness he’s truly offering his wife.
