Of course, we are talking about the new Michael Corinthos on General Hospital. It seems like Rory Gibson is making everyone forget about Chad Duell.

That’s because the moment that he filled in for Chad as the new Michael, he’s been hitting it out of the park and that’s no exaggeration, either. In fact, it seems like everyone is in love with him already!

Needless to say, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some have even commented with, “I usually hate recasts for at least the first couple months but I agree! He’s been perfect in this role since the second he stepped up at the Nurse’s Ball.”

Another fan of the show wrote, “I have been in love with the new Michael since Rory Gibson took over the role, and man, The Young and the Restless never gave him much to do.”

“I loved the scene when he went to the Nurses Ball and grabbed Wiley to take him to his mother’s house. I also love the bond he has with Sasha and his three children.”

What’s Next For Michael Corinthos?

And then there was this comment as well: “I like him, too. No offense to Chad but it was clear he was phoning it in the last few years before he left. Michael is an important legacy character on GH and he needed to be reset.”

“Rory Gibson has really given that character a badly needed jolt. He also seems to have chemistry with everyone, including the actresses who play Sasha and Willow.”
