EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has an offer for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), but is she desperate enough to take it? Plus, Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) is seemingly poisoned. Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up next week in the Peacock soap opera.

Shawn Brady’s Plan

Next week, one must-see moment centers on the drug in development that could save Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) life.

THe problem is that it hasn’t been tested on humans and definitely isn’t legal to give to any patient, including Bo.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) already begged Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz), but his hands were tied. The researcher wasn’t willing to jeopardize all his hard work and career for one man, especially once he doesn’t even know.

Kayla will work on a plan on her end. Meanwhile, she encourages Steve to do what he can to get that drug. Steve won’t be doing this mission alone, though. Steve and Shawn are actually working together on this.

EJ DiMera’s Proposition

Speaking of the miracle drug, EJ meets with Dr. Russell. In a preview clip, EJ says there will soon be a new bankroller for the hospital. The doctor seems confused until EJ announces he’s talking about himself.

Later, EJ offers Kayla a deal, but she turns it down.

Sarah Horton Kiriakis Poisoned

Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Sarah and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) are getting ready to go on vacation.

Before leaving, Sarah bites into a treat, but immediately says it tastes different. As Sarah tries to get the food out of her mouth, Xander screams for someone to call 911.

Week of May 5, 2025

Fans can also expect Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to question EJ about his date with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord). EJ might play innocent but he’s planning something with Cat, I’m just not sure what it is yet.

Meanwhile, Tate Black (Leo Howard) tries to cheer up Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). Not only is Sophia crushed over the failed adoption but is now on modified bed rest as well.

While Tate will do his best to lift Sophia’s spirits, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) isn’t out just yet. It seems Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) ignores Holly this week, so she will likely turn to Tate once again.
