The Young and the Restless spoilers state that a special “romantic” episode of the CBS soap is scheduled to air during May sweeps.

As per Swooon, the show is taking place on Wednesday, May 21, and will spotlight three top super couples in the land of Genoa City. So, who will be featured and what should fans expect? We have all the details below!

Nikki & Victor Newman

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are the epitome of super couple and romance in GC, riding the roller coaster of love for decades now. While they aren’t on the same page where the Kylaire romance is concerned, as Nikki supports

Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) decision to be with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and The Moustache is looking to break them up, Nictor is still stronger than ever where their marriage is concerned.

During the May 21 episode, the two will ramp up the romance by reflecting on how far they’ve come in their own love story, while also expressing their desire to see happiness and love for others in the Newman family.

Lauren Fenmore & Michael Baldwin

Another super couple that will take center stage during the May 21 show is Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Michael is set to make a bold move to show his wife how much she means to him.

Could he choose Lauren over his current work arrangement with The Moustache to prove this? She hates the assignments Victor places Michael on, and his “job” has been a source of stress for the couple as of late!

Diane & Jack Abbott

Finally, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will be the last super couple featured in the romance Y&R special.

From the sounds of it, Jack will have a special gift for Diane that will reveal just how much he appreciates everything she’s done around the Abbott mansion renovation project.

After all, Jack’s brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) had a negative reaction to the renovations recently, so it’s likely that Jack will do all he can to assure Diane that she did a great job!
