A lot of General Hospital fans can’t help but notice that Monica has been kept well secluded lately.

Every now and then someone relays a message to Monica and she responds, but she is almost never heard or seen. This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder if the writers of the show are going to settle with her on-screen death anytime soon. That, or she should get a proper send-off.

As our loyal readers and General Hospital fans can imagine, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about Monica and where this storyline is headed.

Some even commented with, “I think they want to get through the Nurses Ball and settle some of the other ongoing storylines and then give her her due. It feels weird to drag it out, yes, but I also want Monica and Leslie C to get a proper send off.”

Another General Hospital fan wrote, “Maybe next sweeps period or part of a Fall storyline? Usually, there’s a death around the winter holidays. It would give them more time to plan and give a proper tribute.”

That’s why owning the Q mansion meant so much to her. I hope the writers respect the love behind Alan and Monica’s tumultuous marriage, Monica’s love for her family and career.”
