Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) could have complicated feelings after a “date” with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Cat Greene’s Date

During the week of May 5, fans will see Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) try to get Cat to reconsider. Fans know that EJ bought a date with Cat at the hospital benefit. Chad loves his brother but also knows he must have an ulterior motive.

In a preview clip, Chad asks EJ why he’s going on a date with Cat. Of course, the elder DiMera will brush it off like it’s nothing. Chad will know better, though.

Speaking of EJ, he makes his intentions clear to Dr. Jeffrey Russell (Michael Dietz). We will talk more about EJ and Jeffrey a bit later.

Sophia Choi’s Future

Over with Sophia, her modified bed rest might mean missing prom night. Tate will make a bold move and will feel bad that Sophia has to miss the prom. The last prom wasn’t good for Sophia, either. So, it would be easy to see Tate surprising Sophia with a prom at home.

Week of May 5, 2025

Meanwhile, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) gets ignored by Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) urges Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to do whatever is necessary to save Bo Brady (Peter Reckell).

It is also known that Steve and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) put their heads together. It seems that Shawn and Steve will come up with a way to steal the drug for Bo.

Meanwhile, EJ tries to make Kayla a deal for the sepsis drug, but the doctor turns it down. Likely, EJ will hold this drug over Kayla’s head to get what he wants.

Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) will continue to be heartbroken over the failed adoption. What kills Chanel is that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) had months to second-guess the decision.

Of course, fans know that it’s not that simple, but it does seem like Johnny is using his father as an excuse to get out of it.

Thankfully, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) shows up to comfort Chanel.

Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) brings a hot idea to Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Alex likely wants to talk to Xander about Titan publishing Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) manuscript.

However, I wonder if the manuscript includes a poisoning mystery. After all, Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) eats some tainted food before the trip, which derails their plans. It is also stated that Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) ends up in the hospital.

During the week of May 12, fans could find out what caused Sarah’s illness. While Sarah is in the hospital, she could blurt out a secret.
