The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor Makes Foolish Mistake – Michael Creates Guardrails

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) foolishly broke Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) trust. Sabotaging a restored friendship, which LeBlanc’s character considers a paternal bond, implies deeper trouble.

Victor is deep into his latest attack on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Part of that plan involves Michael being tasked with a series of unscrupulous duties, including mining his friendship with Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) is increasingly concerned that Michael’s involvement with Victor will lead to danger. Her prediction appears to be coming true as he crossed sides to meet with Jack and provide a de facto heads-up.

Dungeon Reference Provides Comic Relief

To see Victor as the king of Genoa City, Wisconsin, is easy. Many well-known kings lived in grand estates called castles, represented by the second ranch house.

Viewers know that Victor’s replacement ranch house was built after Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) purposely torched the original while she was dealing with the effects of her bipolar disorder years ago.

Last year, Victor had a literal dungeon built in the bowels of that home, which he’s since replaced with a replica of his original main home.

Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) saw Victor enter a secret passage and followed the trail. That’s how Cole discovered his aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) was being held inside a prison cell.

Michael accepted Cole’s dollar and officially became his legal counsel. Together, they confronted Victor and forced her release so that the authorities could arrest and imprison her. That made the King of GC furious.

Kyle Abbott Factor Is Playing Out Now

Along with planting a mole inside Jabot, Victor is working on a very personal angle. He bribed Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to convince Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that she wants to restart a so-called relationship with him.

Victor wants to split Kyle from Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) using that underhanded means. His tactic follows the crooked path of planting the mole at Jabot, with that form of corporate espionage

While Kyle may fall into the trap Audra is setting for him, one has to wonder if Victor will retain plausible deniability. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) caught her husband and Audra conspiring at the newest ranch house and relayed that intel to Claire and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Michael Baldwin Will Face Intense Wrath

It seems like only a matter of soapy time until Victor discovers that Michael was subtly trying to tip Jack off. Assuming the Moustache confirms that information also means that he’ll be done with Michael.

Lauren may get her wish. However, Michael’s presumed severed ties with Victor will likely include cascading punishment, which could mean career and personal damage.
