Savannah Chrisley Fumes Over Chloe & The Race Card

Savannah Chrisley, formerly on Chrisley Knows Best is fuming over people who use her little sister, Chloe as a race card. Most people are aware that her biological father was Todd Chrisley’s son, Kyle, and her mom was an African American named Angela Johnson. So, Chloe is of mixed race. 

Chloe Is Adopted

Chloe Chrisley was adopted by Todd and Julie Chrisley when she was very small. So, legally, that makes her Savannah’s little sister. Additionally, with her parents in prison after convictions of fraud and tax-related offenses, Savannah is also Chloe’s legal guardian. 

Folks call Chloe Savannah’s “niece,” and according to an exclusive interview on March 8 with People, it infuriates the Chrisley Knows Best alum. Speaking about the adoption, she said, “Her mother gave her away,” adding, that Todd and Julie “took Chloe because they loved her and they wanted to save her from a very bad situation. They wanted to give her the best life possible.”

Fuming Over The Race Card

The USA Network alum spoke for years about how Chloe Chrisley is not her niece. However, people ignore it and persist. It makes her so mad. The outlet cited Savannah Chrisley as saying, “It’s just infuriating because people want to use race to cause this huge divide.”

Noting that Chloe hasn’t had a wonderful life, especially with her adoptive parents in prison, she feels it’s hateful and hurtful to the child to keep on calling her a niece. Or, presumably bringing up the race card.

Kyle Wants To See His Daughter 

Chloe’s biological dad, Kyle seems to keep alive the impression that Chloe is Savannah’s niece. Last year, he complained because his dad wanted nothing to do with him, and Savannah Chrisley kept Chloe away from him. 

From the perspective of the USA Network guardian, he’s got no right to do that. She slammed Kyle and his ex, saying, “Her biological parents turned their backs on her from a very young age… her biological father, completely out the picture, [her] mother out of the picture. That was their choice.”

Not Easy Being An Instant Mom

Unfortunately, while her mom and dad wanted to give Chloe Chrisley the best life, it didn’t work out that way. Savannah, who never wanted to be a mom in a hurry, ended up taking over custody of her brother Grayson, and her little sister. Still in her 20s, it must be hard to raise her sister right while also battling critics of the adoption. 

Recently, USA Network fans saw a heartbreaking photo of Chloe saying goodbye to Todd before he started his 12-year sentence for white-collar crime.
