To begin with, we hope to see Ava Jerome (Maura West) reclaim her fortune and break free from this financial mess she finds herself in.
The Cassadines unjustly seized Ava’s divorce settlement, a move that lacks any logical basis, especially considering Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) gave it to her
Even if such a thing were feasible, Ava was far from destitute prior to receiving that settlement, and although we know she loves her martinis, she’s not drinking money away.
Now, however, she is burdened with loans, meetings with accountants, and the stress of budget constraints—like many fans are in their lives.
It’s evident that the writers aimed to portray Ava’s financial hardships, but this storyline feels trivial and is not particularly enjoyable to follow, especially if you watch the show for an escape!
Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) troubling romance is a storyline that desperately needs to conclude.
This relationship seems to have triggered Drew’s transformation into a darker character, while Willow appears no better, acting as a hypocrite who allows Drew to deceive her.
Their dynamic clearly brings out the worst in one another, and a dramatic breakup would be welcome. Additionally, Drew’s clandestine encounters with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could serve as a catalyst to sever the bond between Willow and Drew, potentially leading to a shocking revelation that ends their relationship.
Granted, some didn’t like her with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) either, calling the couple ‘Mildew’ and boring, but face it, the one with sleeping with her husband’s uncle is much worse!
We understand that the show needs to lay the groundwork for the significant revelation regarding Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) biological parents, but it’s time to pick up the pace.
There has been ample buildup, and viewers are eager for the exciting developments! The scenes featuring Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) fretting over the potential exposure of Gio’s secret are starting to feel a bit redundant.
Additionally, we’ve had plenty of interactions between Gio and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that emphasize their familial bond. Thankfully, the action is likely to intensify once Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) discovers that Brook Lynn placed his child for adoption.
A significant revelation is on the horizon for Dante, regardless of Brook Lynn’s feelings! The May sweeps could serve as the perfect moment for the truth about Gio to come to light.
Once this hidden aspect of the plot is unveiled, a fresh narrative can emerge from the aftermath. Gio will be confronted with startling news and will need to contemplate what his future holds as everything he knows is thrown into chaos.
