General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Maurice Benard’s (Sonny Corinthos) youngest grandson Milo Avila is getting in front of the cameras. In this case the cameras aren’t taping scenes with the don of Port Charles, they’re taking pictures of an adorable toddler modeling adorable outfits!

Milo Is Ready For His Close-Up

Maurice Benard’s grandson is gearing up for his moment in the spotlight. The Emmy-winning star of General Hospital recently took to social media to announce that “baby Milo has expressed an interest in modeling.” He mused about the possibilities: “Perhaps he’ll venture to Japan, Milan, Paris, or even take on commercials and runway shows.”

He then asked his followers for their opinions-the response was overwhelmingly positive, with fans agreeing that the little one has the perfect look. Sarah Joy Brown, who portrayed both Carly and Claudia alongside Benard’s Sonny Corinthos, chimed in, “He’s absolutely adorable-” “And so sweet,” Grandpa added with pride.

If Cailey and Carlos Avila’s younger child ultimately stars in Baby Gap commercials, this little one will just be the latest addition to the Benard family’s foray into the entertainment industry. Already, Joshua Benard has made his mark on General Hospital, portraying Adam, a troubled peer to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

Paula Benard, Maurice’s wife, is immersed in  as a talent agent and producer, having played a crucial role in producing the 2017 film The Ghost and the Whale, featuring her husband.

Benard himself dabbled in modeling during the 1980s, but things didn’t quite turn out as he had hoped. “In a world dominated by tall men, I definitely felt a bit out of place,” he reflected; “I would have given anything to be in the male modeling game.”

Maurice Kept A Good Perspective

The actor had a positive view on his unsuccessful bid to be a coverboy; he remarked, “Life can hit you hard but then surprise you with something good.” For him, acting was that surprise; recently, more children of soap stars are stepping into the spotlight. Crew Morrow, son of Joshua Morrow from Young & Restless, is excelling as Will Spencer on Bold & Beautiful.

Additionally, Steve Burton who plays Jason Morgan on GH  had his son Jack perform for him at a comedy club. “I would never have done that at his age,” Maurice  chuckled; “I skipped high school drama because I was scared to perform-he was brave, took the chance, and did great.”
