The Young and the Restless Star Cait Fairbanks’ Shocking Switch Up – Tessa Porter Character In For A Change

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) is gone from Genoa City (or so they think).

In an interesting move, Tessa’s portrayer, actress Cait Fairbanks, recently shared a change in her life that will definitely affect her character in the future.

New Hair, Don’t Care

Fairbanks is known for her brunette locks; however, as the old saying goes, blondes do have more fun, right? The actress shared a new, lighter look on Instagram, showcasing her new blonde ‘do, with two photos.

The first was a mirror selfie of her, blonde, looking as gorgeous as ever; the second was some famous “blonde” quotes from Miranda Lambert and Marilyn Munroe.

From, “What doesn’t kill you only makes you blonder” to “Blondes to it better,” (among other quotes), the sayings on the second photo in Fairbanks’ IG post ended with, “Some say that blonde hair is versatile and can make them feel light, fun, and carefree. Others say that it can make them feel empowered, bold, and confident.”

The caption on the post was simply a blonde-haired emoji.

Y&R Co-Stars Chime In On The Change

As Fairbanks didn’t reveal much about her new look on her IG post, it remains unclear if the new ‘do is for a role. Will it be a permanent thing for the actress and her Y&R character?

Fans will have to tune in to find out! Still, that didn’t stop Y&R viewers and co-stars from commenting on Fairbanks’s new blonde look.

Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) wrote, “Looove”, while Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) commented, “I love it!” and Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson) stated, “Loveee”.

Meanwhile, Reylynn Caster (Faith Newman) also hopped into the comment section to tell Cait that she’s, “obsessed with the blonde omgg,” and Fairbanks responded with, “omggg ty (tear emoji) (angel emoji).
