The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) might utter just five words to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) once his hidden scheme for revenge comes to light.

Despite Billy’s reassurances to Sally and those around him that he has moved on from thoughts of retribution, his behavior reveals a contrasting truth.

Billy Made A Secretive Phone Call

In the episode that aired on February 13, Billy quietly slipped out of bed, careful not to wake the slumbering Sally, and made a secretive phone call.

It was evident that he wanted to keep the information he was sharing with his mysterious contact under wraps, discussing crucial updates regarding Abbott Communications’ funding and personnel.

Additionally, Billy requested an in-depth investigation into Chancellor, wanting to uncover every detail since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took control and appointed Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as its head.

Although Billy insists he’s not seeking revenge, his actions suggest otherwise; it appears he is still harboring intentions of retaliation. With his restless pursuit of settling old scores, there are plenty of reasons to be concerned about his concealed motives.

Phyllis And Daniel Wanted A Guarantee, Seeking Reassurance

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) sought reassurance from Billy that his sights were no longer set on revenge. For them, this entire endeavor must start fresh, free from past grievances.

Yet, Billy is still fixated on the happenings at Chancellor, and with Abbott Communications being a media powerhouse, it appears he might also be aiming his sights at Newman Media.

Known for his tendency to undermine himself, this plotline could very well lead Billy toward yet another downfall. It seems inevitable that he’s on a path to self-destruction once more, primarily because he’s hiding the truth from those who care about him.

Vengeance Will Only Get Billy Nowhere

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) decided to support Billy’s project because he thought Billy was ready for a new beginning;  however, Jack he’ll be very angry when he discovers Billy’s true, revenge-driven plans.

Sally might be the most hurt when she finds out what Billy is really doing; she will feel betrayed since Billy has misled her about his real intentions. When the truth comes out, Sally could remember all the times Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) lied to her.

This might make her anxious that she is getting into another relationship filled with deceit with Billy; once she realizes she’s been tricked, Sally might tell Billy, “You lie just like Adam!” Will Billy’s hidden secrets ruin his relationship with Sally or at least create a big problem?
