The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Is Poppy Redeemable?

Just when it seems that Poppy Nozawa’s (Romy Park) decision-making can’t get any worse, a new low is revealed. Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful watched Poppy breeze into town about 18 months ago, ready to start a new life in LA with her daughter, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

She was always painted as a free spirit who was a fan of free love and her special “mints,” or drugs.

Poppy seemed messy at first, but we were led to believe that she had raised a “remarkable young woman” for months on end.

Then, the real Luna surfaced, the one that killed two men and kidnapped Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline Macinnes Wood) to keep her cushy life as Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) intact. As Luna’s crimes unraveled so did her paternity leaving us to wonder who the father really was.

Poppy Slept With Her Adopted Nephew

This week we learned that Poppy lived with her sister for a while years ago and became very close to John “Finn” Finnegan, her nephew.

Sure, he is adopted, but still Poppy’s moral compass didn’t go off when maybe it should have. Instead, she ended up in Finn’s bed one night and nine months later Luna was born.

Finn has just learned that he is Luna’s biological father, and Poppy has played it like keeping the truth from his was doing him a favor.

She went off and raised their baby alone while he built a great life as a doctor and now has his own family. She keeps reflecting on their beautiful relationship and Finn now sees that what happened between them was actually wrong.

 Even If Poppy Didn’t Get Pregnant She Still Knew Better

Poppy had talked a lot about how lost she was at that point in her life when she and Finn were spending quality time together, but on some level, she had to have known better.

She hasn’t killed anyone like her daughter has, but Poppy is likely to be equally ostracized. People are not going to understand how she could have crossed such a clear-cut boundary in the first place. The fact that a child was the end result is just going to be mind-blowing for the entire family.
