The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Battles To Stay Strong – Taylor Sailing Smoothly With Ridge

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is willing herself through what she sees as a pause. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) hasn’t fallen back in love with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), or at least that is what Brooke wants to believe.

The arguably most infamous couple in this show’s history has been married an incredible eight times. But they aren’t married now or even together. Instead, Ridge left Brooke’s palatial mansion, citing irreconcilable differences.

Ridge can’t accept Brooke’s working under the Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) era. He, his father, and his daughter rightfully see Carter as unjustly stealing control of Forrester Creations from them.

Brooke Logan Is Working On Carter Walton

Brooke made a tactical mistake, which cost her dearly. She never agreed with Carter’s plan to trick Ridge and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) into having him become the Manager of the LLC he was tasked with creating.

However, Brooke knows she should have told Ridge that she planned to work from the inside to return control to the Forrester family before accepting Carter’s offer to become FC’s Chief Executive Officer. She didn’t, and Ridge saw that as reinforcing his belief that Brooke is an opportunist.

Ridge’s love for Brooke isn’t in question. He’s never denied loving her, even now, but he doesn’t trust her. Kaye’s character has returned, as he did in the recent past, to Taylor’s open heart and arms. They’re together and plan to move to the beach house shortly.

Daphne Rose’s Plan Won’t Be Digested

Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) can break Hope’s hold on Carter. But Hilaire’s character recently recognized that Carter is committed to Hope, which makes her plan to woo him more challenging than she anticipated.

Steffy was slightly surprised by Daphne’s status report but not deterred. She feels that Hope is just like her mother and will be outmaneuvered in this plot.

Ridge agrees with his daughter that Hope has infiltrated Carter’s mind and turned him against the Forrester family. Steffy is confident that her plan to use Daphne as an agent of discord will not only work but will produce a win in a relatively short period.

Brooke is part of FC’s new leadership team and doesn’t know that Daphne represents a threat to Carter and Hope. She won’t be pleased to learn that Steffy is targeting Hope for a takedown and likely removal. Plus, Brooke will eventually confirm that Ridge was on board with it.

Taylor Hayes Is Walking On A Smooth Path

Taylor’s outlook has only changed to a degree since she most recently returned to Los Angeles, California. She initially believed that congestive heart failure meant that her life would soon be ending. That diagnosis was done correctly, with the soapy broken heart syndrome allowing Taylor’s story to continue indefinitely.

What hasn’t changed is Taylor’s approach. She was determined not to get caught in a renewed battle with Brooke for Ridge. That approach proved wise and timely due to the hostile FC takeover, with Brooke appearing to return to her self-sabotage form.

All has gone more smoothly for Taylor, as of cold mid-winter in California, than she ever anticipated. But her challenge will be keeping the reconnection with Ridge secure and remarrying him before Brooke has time to win FC back and wear the love of her life down, as she so often has.
