General Hospital Comings and Goings: Tajh Bellow (TJ Ashford) No Longer On Contract With GH

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that based on the soap’s closing credits, Tajh Bellow is officially off contract as TJ Ashford on the show. Time to take a deeper dive into what this all means for the character and actor.

Tajh Bellow’s Recent Social Media Post

Bellow recently uploaded a variety of photos from this past year, many of them were articles highlighting the actor as “Performer of the Week/Year”. It was a very ‘reflective’ post celebrating TJ and Bellow’s accomplishments for 2024; however, it also seemed to be a bit of a ‘goodbye.

The caption on the post wrapped up with, “I know a lot of my fans are wondering what’s next for TJ, but before I speak to that I wanted to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished together. I’m excited for this year’s EMMY AWARDS! @televisionacad @daytimeemmys.”

This seemed to add to the buzz that Bellow could be leaving GH, as TJ has had a lack of screen time ever since he and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) broke up.

Is Tajh Bellow On Recurring Status With The Soap?

As GH and Bellow haven’t made an official exit statement, there’s a good chance that fans will still see TJ Ashford in a recurring capacity, now and again.

Unfortunately, it looks like Molly is moving on with a romantic storyline as she’s been in Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) orbit as of late. Whether or not they become a bonafide super couple remains to be seen.

There have been some sparks between the two, so both Cody and Molly need to spend some more time together before GH viewers can give a final judgment call.

Sadly, nothing seems to be in the cards for TJ, but that could all change. Plus, he still does have firm roots in the town as Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) son and Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) cousin and, at times, confidant.
