7 Little Johnstons: Domestic Violence Rumors About Anna

Rumors of domestic violence and Anna Johnston, from 7 Little Johnstons, recently arrived on social media. Naturally, it made TLC fans feel very concerned. At this time, the allegations remain unverified. And, it’s important to note that they seem quite serious. 

Rumors and Anna’s Relationship Status

While Anna was previously in a relationship with a man named Darius, the current unverified rumors of domestic violence may not apply to him. On social media, Anna’s posts are sometimes quite cryptic or contradictory, so obviously, it makes it hard to know the true nature of any boyfriend’s status.  

Though the two appeared to be together in mid-October, 2024. when Darius commented on a TikTok reel, their realationship remains unclear. A photo of them was shared by The Nerd Stash ahead of Valentine’s Day, 2025, adding some confusion about the on-again, off-again relationship. 

The Source of the Allegations

The unverified allegations arrived on Reddit via user u/Special_Friendship20. The original poster, who identified as @TruthGiver, claimed in the comments of a post that they are close to the family geographically.  

They alleged,  “As a Johnston neighbor/friend – I can verify that Anna is in a DV relationship – Amber & Trent helped Ana breakaway briefly-She went back!”

Fan Discussion and Skepticism

Not every 7 Little Johnstons fan on Reddit swallowed the story in totality. And, some Reality TV fans pointed out that Trent seems reasonably close to his daughter, Anna Johnston. So, they suggested he would probably intervene if he could, if the rumor is true. However, she is an adult, and that doesn’t make it as simple as if she were a young teen. 

One commenter wrote, “I do not think (for one second) Trent would abandon her… but you can only be there for her so much – the only way to stop it is to literally kidnap her, and I don’t see that going well.”

Another TLC fan suggested that Anna may have ended the relationship, citing recent posts on social media. 

Skepticism was also evident when a commenter noted that the poster previously made similar claims. However, they couldn’t provide proof. 

No Official Comment

One reality TV fan seemed doubtful, saying, “People lie about who they are in the comments and while I like tea for reality tv this one just seems…not tea and too serious an accusation.” 

Meanwhile, another fan of Anna Johnston suggested caution, saying that rumors of domestic violence should be taken with “a pinch of salt.”

At this time, there haven’t been any denials or confirmations by the Johnston family about the rumor.
