Camryn Grimes shared insights with Soap Opera Digest regarding how Mariah will navigate through this turmoil.

While her instinct to protect kicks in, it may take some time before she realizes that Ian is the one responsible for Tessa’s health issues.

Fans are aware that Ian tampered with Tessa’s water, but Mariah will find it hard to wrap her head around the situation, especially when she sees Ian.

Her primary focus will be on Tessa’s health, but once she realizes Tessa is going to be alright, Mariah will seize the opportunity to confront Ian.

This will lead her to connect some troubling dots and heighten her anxieties; Camryn said  “Once she knows  Tessa is on the mend and stable, Mariah’s concerns will shift back to Ian.

She’ll start to have suspicions and a lot of questions;” naturally, Mariah will be furious about Ian’s freedom and will question how he could be out. Ian may insist that he has turned over a new leaf, but Mariah won’t buy it for a moment.

Beneath the surface of her anger, fear is also starting to rise. Mariah has witnessed the terrible things Ian is capable of, prompting her to be on high alert as she evaluates the situation.

With Ian re-entering her life, old traumas with Ian re-entering her life, old traumas that Mariah believed she had left behind will resurface-this could also strain her relationship with Tessa as the repercussions unfold.

“It might reveal a side of Mariah to Tessa that she hasn’t encountered before… the impact on Mariah is something Tessa may not anticipate,” Grimes suggested. Additionally, Ian and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) are set to create even more turmoil for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), which could further escalate the drama surrounding Mariah.
