General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal the show’s newest addition has an exciting new venture in the works. Prior to his role on GH, Sawandi Wilson captivated audiences as Captain Leto in the final season of Star Trek: Discovery, and he has also graced both Amazon and Netflix productions.

General Hospital Spoilers: Wilson Plays Isaiah Gannon

Sawandi Wilson recently joined GH as Dr. Isaiah Gannon, a doctor who was a close friend of Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) in Africa.

In a refugee camp nestled in East Africa, under the iron grip of a warlord named Jenz Sidwell, (Carlo Rota)  Lucky and Isaiah found themselves trapped. This camp, located on the Somalian side of the border with Ethiopia, is a harsh reality according to the WSB.

Seizing a fleeting opportunity, Lucky devised a plan for Isaiah to break free from the confines of the compound, just as the doctor departed alongside a guard.

Lucky had posed as a mercenary to infiltrate the compound and rescue his friend Isaiah, and eventually he made it to Port Charles where he now works at GH.

GH Spoilers: Wilson Is Now Working On A Film Project As Well As Portraying Isaiah

Excitingly, Wilson has now disclosed that he is working on yet another intriguing project; on January 6, Wilson unveiled a sneak peek of his next project on his Instagram account. He captioned it with a bold, “COMING SOON,” and tagged the Instagram page for the film titled “Odisea”.

He also extended his appreciation to both Billboard and Rolling Stone en Español. The post featured a selection of images, including screenshots from various publications that highlighted the project.

Additionally, Wilson shared a striking photo of himself alongside Ozuna, the renowned Puerto Rican singer who stars in the upcoming film.

General Hospital Spoilers: “Odisea” Is A Biographical Film About Ozuna

Odisea, as reported by Rolling Stone, is a biographical film that chronicles the life of the renowned singer Ozuna-this marks the inaugural project from his production company, Bear with Oz Films.

Interestingly, the film shares its title with Ozuna’s debut album, which hit the shelves in 2017. Billboard highlighted that this album dominated their Top Latin Albums chart for an impressive 46 weeks.

Among the cast of Odisea is Wilson, with filming taking place across vibrant locations in New York, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. The film’s first trailer made its grand entrance on December 25.

GH Spoilers: A Release Date Has Not Yet Been Revealed

A release date for 2025 has yet to be disclosed-fans who keep up with Wilson on Instagram were thrilled to see the film announcement. One enthusiastic follower commented, “@sawandiwilson love you in GH-huge fan of Ozuna! Cannot wait to see this movie. So happy you will be a part of it.”

The comments on Wilson’s post were filled with fire emojis and expressions of excitement, showcasing the buzz surrounding the project. While details about Wilson’s character in Odisea remain under wraps, his supporters are eagerly anticipating the film’s release.
