The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke’s Power Grab Could Backfire On Carter

The Bold and The Beautiful: Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) wasn’t expecting this elevated role. But Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is serious about transforming Forrester Creations into what he calls a global luxury brand.

Carter’s idea is plausible. But it’s one the Eric Forrester (John McCook) isn’t interested in. The now-former co-Chief Executive Officers, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), agree with him.

Under normal circumstances Carter’s pitch would have been made, answered, and that would have been it. But this storyline isn’t a status quo business tale.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – But What About The Jewelry Line?

Carter contacted Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) months ago, which foreshadowed his more extensive plan. The Forrester contingent accepted his efforts to reinstate one division within the family business.

Eric openly welcomed Ivy and her niece, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), and greenlighted this area of FC that his former wife, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), most recently headed.

But Carter’s secret work to restart this part of FC wasn’t a betrayal. Eric liked the family expansion aspect, and Ridge and Steffy were easily persuaded. The self-appointed manager of the Legally Licensed Corporation that Eric’s company now is identified as then crossed numerous lines with his next move.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Always Read The Fine Print In California

Ridge and Steffy recently admitted their mistake to each other at the cliff house. Ridge took the blame for not scrutinizing the LLC paperwork, even after noticing that Carter’s name and initials were listed on the manager’s spot on that binding paperwork.

But Steffy didn’t allow her father to shoulder full responsibility. She owned it as well. Together, they knew their trust in Carter was why they skated past the odd managerial language.

What feels strange is that Ridge’s chosen legal expert, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears), concluded that Carter’s efforts were legal. However, Justin did call out Carter’s duplicitous actions. Meanwhile, the audience is likely collectively wondering why Ridge, Eric, Steffy, or all three aren’t seeking additional legal opinions.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Comes In Next

Brooke is being focused upon in the last section of this feature because she hasn’t been a leading player in the drama so far. That’s also Carter’s point when he repeatedly references how disrespectfully he feels the Logans have been treated through the years, which is full use of emotional logic with this reference not being meant positively.

Carter only has one legitimate option at this point. Other than naming himself CEO, asking Hope to take that title would be almost as ridiculous as if Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) was given the position.

Asking Brooke is a plausible stop-gap measure that might have legs. Brooke’s Bedroom is a sensation, and she was CEO in daytime days gone by. But this move, like the hostile takeover itself, seems like a flash in the soapy pan that can’t possibly last. However, this is B&B, where many fantastical events are possible.
