Cyrus is the supposedly reformed brother of Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and some fans are speculating that Cyrus knew Dex is Jason’s long lost son. This hasn’t been declared on the show, but some GH fans believe that Jason was Dex’s father, a fact unknown to either man.

General Hospital spoilers: Is Jason Dex’s Father?

If Cyrus is the culprit, why would he kill Sam? One reason is that he is targeting Jason’s loved ones. It may also have been to get Sam out of the way of his niece Lulu and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

If indeed Cyrus is out to get back at Jason, killing Dex makes sense—if Dex is Jason’s son.
