Cooler heads may have prevailed, specifically the three Abbotts in question. Kyle’s threat to tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about his parents’ scam was not based on logic. Hopefully, he will not follow through.

The latest flair of his many temper tantrums reflected Kyle lashing out. Plus, it is fair to realize that Kyle’s head is spinning because his father and returned-from-her-faked-death mother faked a breakup.

But Jack and Diane had to treat Kyle like a boy. He has behaved like one for many months, from when he irrationally ended his marriage to Summer.

That happened because she didn’t tell him Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death, which represented a form of Diane-related transference on Kyle’s part.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Gives Poison Pill

Victor told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that Diane doesn’t realize what she’s gained in Glissade. That must mean that Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) former company is set up to fail.

Diane is sharp and has bested Victor in the past. But his cunning is legendary, and he isn’t dealing with a family mutiny.

Braeden’s character didn’t care about Kyle and used him as a means to an end and a weapon against Jack and Diane, whom he equally loathes. Of course, Victor is an unrepentant despiser of many who have been part of the Genoa City, Wisconsin, scene since he first arrived decades ago.

Did Jack and Diane fool Victor?

That answer will be known when she and the viewers learn as Victor’s comment about Glissade proves out. In the meantime, they’ve forced Kyle to see that his decision to work for him was wrong.

Kyle is right about Victor not relenting, with Jack knowing his son is predicting the immediate future. What the Moustache’s retaliation will be should soon be known.

The Abbotts should take the next step together. They must be united to prepare for whatever Victor has set in motion and what may follow later.
