Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that many fans are very excited about the coming 13,000 episode special that is set to air on Wednesday, November 13. Upon a plethora of returns, actress Brytni Sarpy is set to reprise her Elena Dawson role.

Still, some have been perplexed about why Elena is coming back to Genoa City. There are viewers who believe her return storyline might be linked to Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James); however, a new backstage photo has Y&R fans speculating a massive storyline.

Y&R Spoilers: A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Y&R spoilers remind fans that 13,000 episodes is a huge milestone, and the soap is pulling out all the stops to celebrate. There was a party and tons of media about the big event. There was even a Y&R cast picture of those participating in the 13,000th show.

Of course, the series regulars were there, front and center, from Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) to Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Allison Lanier (Summer Newman) and others.

There were also some of the kids that cause fun chaos in the little town, like Redding Munsell (Harrison Abbott) and Judah Mackey (Connor Newman), as well as other younger Y&R cast members.

Some surprising faces included Vail Bloom (Heather Stevens) and Veronica Redd (Mamie Johnson); however, a pint-sized little one, who Y&R fans have not seen before, is making the biggest buzz on social media.

Y&R Photo: Elena & Nate’s Baby Speculation

Both Sarpy and Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings) are in the Y&R cast 13,000th episode picture, next to each other, as Dominic is holding a baby.

An X user, @yogachampagne, posted the photo on her handle, and commented that a Reddit user zeroed in on the pic of Sean Dominic and the little one.

It’s unlikely that the baby he is holding is a real-life family member or loved one. After all, the photo is for Y&R cast only.

This begs the question; is Elena’s storyline return to GC about a shocking baby reveal?

The last time fans saw Elena was in the summer of 2023. She was the doctor who oversaw Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) medical emergency while she was expecting and gave her and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) the news that their baby, Ava Hope Newman, had passed away.

Before that, Elena was involved in a heavy storyline that saw her and Nate break up, after he cheated on her with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in early 2023.

There’s a good possibility that Elena found out she was pregnant, shortly after her breakup with Nate and never told anyone. As it’s been over a year since fans have seen her, she could’ve skipped town, had Nate’s baby, and is now returning to drop the bombshell on him.

Then again, there’s been a ton speculation in the months after Ava Newman passed that Elena was behind a bigger scheme that saw her steal Adam and Sally’s child.

Could the little one in the photo really be a Newman and not a Hastings? With Ally officially over, a baby would completely complicate things for Sally and Adam.

Regardless, it looks like it’s going to be an explosive month in the land of GC!
