General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Doesn’t Remember Lulu — and the Fans Aren’t Here For It

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) just happened to be in the right place at the right time when Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) was stumbling along the roadside looking to hitch a ride with a complete stranger.

She had to have known she may happen upon someone she knows, but Cody rolled up out of the blue without any apparent memory of who she is.

The response from the fans hasn’t been good. They don’t buy it. They know Cody is a bit preoccupied with his own life circumstances right now, but he’s supposed to be Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) best friend.

Are we really supposed to believe he doesn’t know who the mother of Dante’s child is upon seeing her? Apparently so.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cut the Guy Some Slack?

Can we just take a moment to remember that Cody has only been by Lulu’s bedside exactly one time? While it’s a fair argument that he should have recalled what his best friend’s ex-wife who has been in a coma for four years looks like, he still only had limited exposure to her.

Furthermore, Cody has no idea that Lulu has magically disappeared from Turning Woods. When he gains that knowledge, his mind may start to put some pieces together. If not, then we can complain, right?

For now, maybe the fans should take a back seat on this storyline and let it play out a bit more before we judge Cody for his reaction. Besides, that hoodie obscured a lot of Lulu’s face much of the time, and it’s not as though he was familiar with her voice or mannerisms.

GH Spoilers Tease Life’s a Mess

On top of not thinking he would come across a woman on the roadside who needed his help, Cody’s life is a bit of a mess right now. No, it’s not the worst that it’s ever been, but he is grieving over the loss of his relationship with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).

He’s sad and distracted, and the last thing he’s thinking is that a random hitchhiker is the same woman he thought he may never get to meet because she may never wake up.

General Hospital Spoilers — Breaking News

Right now, Cody may have no idea who this mysterious stranger is, but when he hears the news that a fire alarm went off at Turning Woods and Lulu was missing in action after the staff was given the all clear to move back inside, he may think back on his exchange with her differently.

Of course, if everyone starts to suspect that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) moved Lulu, the thought may not cross Cody’s mind at all that the woman he ran into was Lulu. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
