Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Rafe Quit The Salem Police-Returning To The ISA?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease since Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) quit the Salem PD in a recent episode, he may have another job lined up.

He didn’t say anything about having a new job to Police Commissioner Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) but there is a good possibility he’ll return to the ISA.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: John Black Will Soon Be Reported As Missing

Days of Our Lives recently revealed in the Day of Days preview, that the late Drake Hogestyn approved his character, John Black’s exit storyline before his death.

As far as anyone knew previously, his last airdate had already run, in a scene where John was talking to Tate Black (Leo Howard). But recent publicity infers that Drake perhaps had a few more scenes in the can, associated  with John’s disappearance and death.

We also know from the Day of Days event that Charles Shaughnessy (Shane Donovan) had filmed some scenes, and that implies the ISA director is needed for some situations.

Even though “Black Patch” which consisted of John and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) was a private PI business they were still semi-active ISA; might Rafe take John’s place in the future?

DOOL Spoilers: Rafe Has Worked Both For The ISA And The FBI

Before Rafe was employed by the Salem Police Department, he had been both an FBI and an ISA agent, and we know John’s exit story has already been filmed.

Currently, they are nine months ahead instead of the usual six-and it makes sense for Rafe to return to the ISA, possibly helping in the search for John, along with Steve.

There’s a good possibility that John’s son Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) and his fiancé Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) and possibly Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Shane may all be searching.

In the promo, Brady is seen talking to Andrew about his father missing, and Steve and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) are in Shane’s office talking to him.

It never hurts in a search for a missing person, especially one who may still have old enemies around and a secret agent, to have another hand on deck!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: The Search May Go On Several Months

There’s a good possibility that the search may go on several months, and it will be a long arc to the storyline of John’s fate and exit.

It makes a lot of sense for Rafe to rejoin the ISA, or International Security Agency at this point, whether it be active duty or not. Yes, Rafe did just also get engaged to Jada, and a wedding may indeed play out although there wasn’t anything for sure about it in the promo.

There could be a local office of the ISA opened in Salem, and Rafe could be involved in that-or, he could become Steve’s partner in Black Patch. No doubt the name “Black Patch” would remain, memorializing John Black’s history even if Rafe is doing the work.
