Young Hollywood interviewed Dan who gave them a look behind the curtain so to speak. Here is a glimpse into a day in the life. “So, a typical day, just say, for example, I’m shooting one episode, but it’s split up into multiple kind[s] of sets.

You get in, just say like, seven o’clock in the morning, you’ll go to hair and makeup, you’ll maybe do a dry block, which is we do like a brief blocking of the scene, so it makes it at the time of shooting, go faster,” Dan said.

Of course, it works out will if the actors don’t have to keep repeating scenes and some networks believe in doing it in one take with no retakes. Some actors are much better than other but in soap operas this is very important.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: One Chance To Get It Right

Dan discusses the one take policy, “Then, depending on what time you are scheduled, you will sit down and chill out for a bit, or you’ll get straight into it. You’ll shoot, we’ll shoot as fast as we can.

If we can do it in one take, we will do it in one take.” Most soaps prefer one take but at times they may make exception for technical issues too.

Fans were very concerned that EJ might be leaving the show considering all of the issues he has been having lately. Apparently that isn’t the case and just laughed it off along with Dan.

Fans cannot wait to see what is to come, especially with Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney ) possibly coming back to town. Fan cannot wait for the heated scenes between these two.
