The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor’s Broken Heart, Ridge Forced to Save Her?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Dr. Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) is the perfect example of why doctors are forbidden from treating family members—objectivity flies out the window.

But Taylor took her foolishness one step further and diagnosed herself with heart failure.

Except she is wrong, she has Broken Heart Syndrome (BHS). And now the consequences will be very interesting as she and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) figure out how to live with this actual condition.

Taylor Hayes Has Broken Heart Syndrome

According to experts, Broken Heart Syndrome symptoms mimic those of a heart attack. Taylor felt symptoms in Europe and a doctor took tests, which Taylor interpreted herself.

She came back to LA to live out her final days except now she’s not dying and Ridge was with her when she got an accurate diagnosis.

The elephant in the room is a large one: Is Ridge responsible for Taylor’s ailment? And if so, what are they going to do about it?

Awkwardness reached a new level when Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) told Taylor and her true love that she has BHS. Grace tested Taylor and fast tracked the results, resulting in an almost instantaneous diagnosis.

The news hit like a ton of bricks, not the least of which because Taylor misdiagnosed herself with a fatal condition. She is trumpeted by her family as a modern-day Joan of Arc based on her medical acumen so how in the world is she going to practice after making such a bone headed mistake? She should be embarrassed beyond belief.

B&B spoilers: How Did Taylor Make Such a Dumb Decision?

Now that Taylor knows her heart is broken (duh) what will she do about it? Join a dating app? The obvious choice is one that B&B fans may not be on board with—get back together with Ridge. Right now he and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) are happy in love and Taylor’s presence is a third wheel.

But Ridge loves both of these women and he won’t want to see Taylor suffer. How would you take it if you knew that a loved one is suffering because of you, and you can alleviate their pain? This is an interesting scenario for a soap. Taylor having BHS is one of the soapiest dilemmas we’ve seen in a long time.
