General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s Interest in Jason’s African Adventure with Anna Could Fuel Her Interest in Jack

General Hospital spoilers say Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) just couldn’t bite her tongue when she bumped into Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) at the hospital and could tell he was holding back on her.

Some fans seem to feel that’s not typical of their relationship, but Jason doesn’t actually tell Carly everything. Despite their closeness and his love for her, she’s kept on a need-to-know basis.

Still, Carly could tell that something else must have happened on Jason’s trip to rescue Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), but it’s the last thing she’s thinking.

That liplock he shared with Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is playing through his mind — especially at a time when he’s warning Carly not to get too close to a member of law enforcement, WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure). Is he a complete hypocrite?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Weak Moment

At the time that we saw Jason and Anna embrace, the fans were immediately divided. Some thought it was a real kiss while others thought it was for show to distract the guards after Jason heard them coming for them.

At the same time, a few of us were left wondering whether they just got caught up in the moment. It’s going to be impossible to read Jason on that front.

He’s not telling Carly the truth, but that doesn’t mean he’s hiding it because he feels anything that deeply for Anna. However, Anna seems rather rattled by her decision to kiss him back, and that leads us to believe she’s a bit more invested than Stone Cold. Not shocking.

GH Spoilers Report Holly Might Know the Truth

Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) wasn’t present at the time of their smooch, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t overhear the guards talking about it or even relaying it back to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). If Holly knows that Anna got that close to Jason — a known hit man for mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — she just might wait to use that information when it suits her best.

Will that be another way she tries to one-up Anna with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), or will Holly go even lower and try to harm Anna’s reputation and career with the PCPD by circulating this gossip? Either way, it getting back to Carly could be quite damaging.

Carly could take it rather personally if she finds out Jason has any interest in Anna. Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) has always been a bit of a sticking point for her, and thinking of Jason cozying up to her mother will only make matters worse.

But she knows she can’t control who Jason gets involved with. However, she can drive him crazy by diving into a relationship with the very man he won’t stop warning her about.
