General Hospital spoilers gush Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is currently panicking on the heels of Ava Jerome (Maura West) looping her in on Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) multifaceted approach to Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills).
Portia should’ve known better than to assume Ric would rely on a single panel of labs, especially given that the fate of Heather’s case — and his windfall — rest on those results. Ava was right; it won’t take long for anyone to put the pieces of this mystery together.
So Portia will be quick to start mulling over her options should she get caught. Who can she blame for tampering with Heather’s lab results to take the heat off herself?
Why, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), of course. But Portia might want to exercise some caution. Brad may have more people in his corner than she — or he himself — realizes.
Brad is the low hanging fruit; it’s just that simple. Portia just ran into the guy. So we surmise it’s not going to take very long for her to recall their heated discussion and her accusatory tone toward him.
She was in disbelief that he was even hanging around or would come in before his predetermined shift, and didn’t hesitate to insinuate that his probationary period probably wouldn’t end well.
In short, Portia just doesn’t have any faith that Brad could have changed. Maybe that’s because it’s rather obvious that she never has.
So will anyone be surprised when she points her finger in Brad’s direction as the hospital — and she — comes under fire for altering Heather’s lab work results?
Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) has just returned to town. Preferring to be direct than hide from his discomforts any longer, he stopped by the hospital lab to confront Brad personally.
His ex was taken aback at first, but he didn’t seem shocked by Lucas’ cold words. Never wanting anything to do with him again was rather expected after all that Brad had done, but Lucas was vulnerable enough to let him know he doesn’t hate him and he understands why he did what he did.
Still, it’s too painful for him to focus on or think about, so the less interaction he has with Brad, the better. Of course, it won’t be easy to forget he exists when Portia causes a scandal to erupt surrounding him. When Brad pleads his innocence, Lucas just might find himself defending a man he never thought he would again.
Since Brad is on probation, will he be tossed out without recourse or so much as a discussion right away? Will Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) — Portia’s Co-Chief of Staff at GH — have the nerve to check her colleague and demand that further investigation occur before fingers are pointed?
If so, Portia will be at risk of being found out. In the midst of it all, Lucas and Brad could find their way back to one another. Will they though? Share your thoughts with us and keep coming back for more GH news and spoilers.
