Audrey Roloff Chooses Saddest Halloween Theme?

Little People, Big World alum Audrey Roloff celebrated Halloween with her family this year and for the first time in a long time, she got everyone dressed in costumes. But, her photos made her TLC fans feel sad because she chose one of the saddest movies from their childhood as her theme.

Audrey Roloff Seldom Celebrates Holidays

These days, Little People, Big World fans see that the TLC alum does allow the kids to celebrate Easter, Christmas, and even Halloween, But, that wasn’t always the case. Well, to be fair, she did let them, but mainly she wouldn’t focus on any commercialization or pagan aspects on holidays like Easter.

TLC fans last saw a costumed Halloween photo from Audrey Roloff years ago. And she admitted that it’s been a long time. In fact, the last time she allowed that was when her oldest daughter, Ember was still an infant

Audrey Roloff told her followers that she went with The Fox and the Hound because her sons, Bode and Radley wanted it. In her caption, she wrote:

We haven’t done a family costume since Ember was really little… but felt inspired to this year cause the boys wanted to be Fox And The Hound…

TLC Fans React With Sadness

In the comments section, many TLC fans liked that the family celebrated Halloween with costumes. But, they couldn’t help but mention the sad aspect of the movie. Here are a few of their reactions:

  • Loved the movie, but it is the saddest I have ever seen…to this day!
  • I decided to re-watch it as a young adult and there were so many tears. I don’t think I could watch it again unless I need a good cry!
  • That movie makes me cry more than any other Disney movie!
  • I’ve never cried so much watching a movie.

Why were TLC fans so sad? Well, the movie was about a dog and a fox who were besties as pups but eventually, they grew apart because of their natural traits. Apart from that, the movie brought death, loss, and an unhappy ending.

What are your thoughts on Audrey Roloff going with the saddest theme for Halloween? Do agree that The Fox and the Hound was one of the saddest movies you ever watched as a kid?
