Trent Johnston Celebrates A Heavenly Birthday

7 Little Johnstons star Trent Johnston lives a successful life as a reality TV star on TLC but his fame and wealth can’t protect his heart from loss. This week, like so many other people, he celebrated a heavenly birthday, and his fans sent in their thoughts. 

Trent Johnston Has Lots To Feel Grateful For

Although he’s a little person who struggles with some debilitation from his skeletal problems, the dad of Jonah, Liz, Anna, Emma, and Alex has a lot of good things going for him. His wife Amber Johnston adores him, and his kids mostly respect him. He lives in a nice house and these days, he’s a happy grandfather to baby Leighton. 

Trent Johnston takes some heat for being a strict father, but he knows how hard it can be for a little person to find gainful employment and make it in a world built for average-sized people. So, his strictness was often viewed as tough love by the family. But, the family is short one special person so, he had to celebrate a heavenly birthday this week. 

7 Little Johnstons Star’s Heavenly Birthday

Many TLC fans were unaware that the 7 Little Johnstons patriarch had lost his dad, Walter “Pete” Johnston in March this year. TV Shows Ace reported that the older man had a long life and died at the age of 90. While it was a difficult time, Trent’s dad passed away at peace with his family around him. 

On Monday, Trent Johnston took to his Instagram and shared a photo of his dad. In his caption, the TLC star wrote:

Happy Heavenly Birthday Dad! #ourpoppy.

TLC fans know that it’s the very first heavenly birthday for Trent’s dad. And, some of them also missed their loved ones on the same day. Messages of love went in. Here are some of them:

• Didn’t know your dad passed. Sorry [for] your loss.
• May this special Birthday day in Heaven bring you joy happiness and much love with all that are with you.
• I’m so sorry for your loss, xoxo Happy Heavenly Birthday Sir.
• My dad’s Heavenly Birthday also ❤️✨️
• Happy Birthday and heavenly fathers day
• Well .. he’s celebrating .. but life goes on in…heaven .. they now watching…us with all the wisdom.

It’s not the first time that Trent Johnston mentioned his dad since he passed away. On Father’s Day, he said that he believes his dad watches over him and he believes that his dad’s with him all the time.
