Where Does Tony Padron Work In North Carolina?

Before Sister Wives stars Mykelti and Tony Padron welcomed their little girl, Avalon in 2021, her husband had a mysterious job in banking before he started working from home. That fell away and TLC fans started seeing more of him on the show. Now they moved to North Carolina, what is his job there? Read on to find out. 

Tony Padron Grows In Popularity 

The more Sister Wives fans see of Mykelti’s husband, the more they like the way he parents the kids, Avalon, and the twins, Archer and Ace. Additionally, he worked hard to shed excess weight and enjoys getting out in nature and hiking. 

Tony Padron does appear on the Sister Wives show and these days, he seems perplexed rather than impressed by Robyn Brown, judging by comments on their podcast. But now that they moved to North Carolina, they may spend less time with her and Kody Brown. 

Mykelti Padron & Tony Talk NC & Job

This week, Mykelti Padron posted a photo on social media and told her TLC fans that they had moved to North Carolina. That confirmed what the couple spoke about in July on the Live podcast. Unfortunately, the sound on the Live was very indistinct, but they did talk about Tony getting a job offer in Charleston. 

In the conversation, Mykelti and Tony Padron said that they planned their move to get “away from drama,” whatever that meant. Plus, they felt bad about leaving her mom, Christine Brown. However, she’d settled down with David Woolley and had a good support system. Additionally, they moved because of a job offer for Tony. 

Sister Wives Star’s Job In Charlotte, NC?

The news from the Live revealed that the job was offered at a very big chess center. The TLC stars seemed very excited, and Tony said:

Basically for my chess career, it was huge… It was a huge offer…and Mykelti has always wanted to live somewhere more green….it was a huge opportunity and a chance to live the dream, basically.

Well, in Charlotte is the Charlotte Chess Center which is massive with many programs and a lot of camps and education. However, looking at the Staff Listing on the website, Tony Padron isn’t mentioned. That doesn’t mean he’s not there, as he’s quite new, Hopefully, the chess-crazy TLC star will reveal more as time goes by. 

Not many TLC fans picked up the bit about chess, but at least one follower in the top chat said, “I’ve watched some of your Chess Snarks Videos and it’s neat to see you living that dream. Excited for you guys!”
