To admit that she engineered the situation with Zende, rather than being accidentally drugged by Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), was incredible. It also telegraphed the coming end of Yamada’s character.

So, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) has been used for months. He may have been useful initially as she plotted her cover. But when the part at the Forrester mansion occurred, and Luna pretended to be drugged, RJ was no longer seen as relevant.

Luna could be written weeks into the future if an extension to this storyline is unfolding. She could escape when discovered or sought by the Los Angeles County Police Department. A circuitous plot could play out from that point.

But if the above does not happen, then Yamada’s character will be short for this soapy world. Luna will either be arrested shortly after John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) or another character ends her reign of daytime terror, or she could be killed.

The finality issue is important because if Luna is not killed and does not flee town, then she will surely be arrested and convicted. Prison scenes will follow.

Poppy has admitted to making mistakes in her life. Her reputation preceded her to such a great extent that she was an easy setup.

Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) was stunned when Luna came to his office and told him that her mother was guilty. She claimed a desire to unburden herself, which appeared to strike Martin’s character as odd.

It will be interesting to see if Baker has his officers keep tabs on Luna. While she’s committed crimes, her demeanor is reckless. Luna believes she’s in the clear, and that’s far true because her cousin, Finn, is already on her trail.

Finn picked up on Luna’s weird behavior at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) mansion. His talk with Bill caused Luna’s sudden ex-father to reconsider.

Bill’s emotional turmoil has caused him to be unobservant. While he’s a killer in the business world, Poppy and Luna’s entrance into his life profoundly affected him.

Viewers know that Steffy was placed in the apartment setting with Luna so Yamada’s character could spill her guts. Luna is bragging about her crimes and feels invincible. But she’ll soon be stopped and either suffer the legal or fatal consequences of her actions.
