General Hospital Spoilers: Could It Be That Sonny and Lois Have Protected Gio for Brenda — Not Brook Lynn?

General Hospital spoilers remind that while so many fans are suspicious of what Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have lurking in their past, the secret they don’t want to come out may not necessarily be their own — at least not both of theirs.

The gossip mill is churning, reporting that Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) might be Brook Lynn and Dante’s son who they gave up for adoption years ago.

But a new theory is coming into play that could make just as much sense. Might it be possible that it wasn’t Brook Lynn who got pregnant by Dante — but Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil)?

General Hospital Spoilers — Lois Would Do Anything for Brenda

The fans have been so wrapped up in Brook Lynn’s conversation with Dante and apparent guilt about her past that she just couldn’t confess to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that they’ve glossed over the theory that Gio might not be Brook Lynn’s child at all.

What if Brook Lynn only came into this equation by happenstance because she was in her mother’s orbit? Could it be that the mother Lois is actually protecting is her longtime friend and former business partner, Brenda? I’ve got to be honest, I can see it.

GH Spoilers Hint Sonny Kept it Flush and Quiet

Sonny would also go just about anything for Brenda, and it would make sense that he never told anyone else in his life about Gio if he were Brenda’s child. After all, how would he explain financing his education?

Sonny wasn’t even around in Bensonhurst when Gio was born. How would he convey how he knew his mother or why Gio mattered so much to him? Sonny kept Gio as a secret because he is one, right?

General Hospital Spoilers — Is Brenda Headed Back to Blow Things Up?

Brenda has been in the background for a long time. We haven’t seen her in years, but we know that any time she comes back to town, she shakes things up. She’s not always looking to, but that’s the outcome nonetheless.

With a long list of enemies to her credit, Brenda has kept a few steadfast friends over the years — namely Lois and Sonny. Will Brook Lynn, Lois, or Sonny spill the beans to Dante that Gio is his son?
