General Hospital Spoilers: Brook Lynn and Dante are Gio’s Parents, But the Kid Has No Clue
General Hospital spoilers tease Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might have had a slip-up in years past when they got tangled up in a scheme commissioned by Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to break Dante and Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) up.
If these two actually had a one-night stand — or more — then the theory that Brook Lynn gave birth to Dante’s child some nine months later holds water.
A couple of weeks ago, Brook Lynn seemed conflicted like she wanted to tell her new hubby, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), the truth about her past, but she just couldn’t bring herself to.
Moments later, a conversation between her and Dante hinted at secrets from their past that need to stay there. Could the big secret be their child, and if so, what are the odds that Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is their child?
General Hospital Spoilers — Gio is in the Dark
Obviously, Gio has no idea that he may have been adopted. He speaks of his late mother in only the highest esteem, and he gives the same grace to the father he never knew.
But what if the story of him dying in action was all an illusion? What if Gio’s dad is right here in Port Charles? What if they’ve already met and don’t know it?
It would seem that while Gio is clueless about the real origins of his birth and who his parents are, that may not necessarily be their fault.
GH Spoilers Leak Brook Lynn and Dante Seem to Be Too
Brook Lynn and Dante could have consented to an adoption of their son, but all signs are pointing toward them being equally as clueless about him being Gio.
These two might not be interested in reopening the vault to their past, but we have to think it’s not because they don’t care. However, they might feel different if they knew the child they gave up had lost his parents.
Will they blame those who were in the know for not telling them sooner when the truth comes out?
General Hospital Spoilers — Someone Knows
It certainly seems like the grandparents might be in on it, but we can’t say all of them are. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) seemed rather confused as to why Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) was adamant that he lay down his arms against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Could it be because she and Sonny both know the truth about Gio and that’s why they’ve cared for him all of these years? If so, did they leave Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) out of the loop on purpose?
When the truth surfaces, Gio may find himself gravitating toward the grandparents that didn’t know he existed more so than the two who’ve always been in his corner. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
