Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle & Claire’s Steamy Office Romance, Working Together At Newman Changes Everything

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate things can move fast in the land of Genoa City. Right now, Claire Newman (Hayley Grace) is officially Harrison Abbott’s (Redding Munsell) nanny.

Even though she feels some sparks between her and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), she’s keeping him at bay. After all, pursuing a relationship with him would be unprofessional.

But could a new career for Claire change all this?

Y&R Spoilers: Claire Newman’s New Job

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) recently extended a job opportunity to Claire. Her granddaughter was one of the best assistants she’s ever had and once she starts leading Chancellor she’ll hit the ground running. Nikki will need somebody with the organizational skills that Claire has, and she offered her a job working for her again.

Claire declined the offer for now, but there’s a good chance that she’ll circle back to Nikki at some point. The main reason Claire declined was because of Harrison and the custody battle between Kyle and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). She wanted to remain a constant in his life, during such a chaotic time.

While Skyle has been at each other’s throats, things could calm down between the two, opening up a door for Claire to exit as Harrison’s nanny, or at least be dropped down to a part-time basis. After all, the boy is starting school soon!

It may only be a matter of weeks until Claire is back in the Newman Enterprises building as Nikki’s right-hand gal!

Y&R Spoilers: Kylaire’s Secret, Late-Night Conversations

Meanwhile, Kyle works for Glissade, which is unknowingly under the Newman Enterprises umbrella – for now.

Despite keeping Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) role in Glissade on the down low, Kyle and Audra Charles (Zulekya Silver) have both been at Newman Enterprises a lot lately to update The Moustache on their progress. Who’s to say the cat isn’t leaked out of the bag, soon?

Who’s to say Victor doesn’t decide to bring Glissade into the Newman building so all his companies can work together as a cohesive unit (especially once Chancellor Industries joins the fold)?

With Claire and Kyle working together in the same offices, this could create a recipe for romance. Chats during late-night work sessions between the two, dinners at their desks together, and more – the playing field for Claire and Kyle to have a romance will be very different from what they’ve experienced.

Plus, they’ll be “equals” in the office, versus the “employer/employee” relationship Kylaire has had more recently.

Will they keep their romance a secret? They may decide to, which would just add to the sparks and chemistry they experience.
