Young and the Restless Spoilers: Claire Pushes Her Feelings Aside, Tries To Reunite Skyle For Harrison’s Sake?

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that while Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) is smitten with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), she genuinely cares for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

She often refers to the boy as her “little buddy”, and as much as the child adores her, in many ways, he’s also helped her start a new chapter in Genoa City.

With that being said, would she push aside her own relationship desires to help a wish of his come true?

Y&R Spoilers: Harrison Abbott Misses The ‘Good Ol’ Days’

Y&R spoilers state that during the Friday, August 9 show, Claire took Harrison out for ice cream while Kyle was summoned by Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

During their chat, the little boy expressed how much he missed doing things as a family. He talked about Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and his dad reading to him back in the day, which never happens anymore. Viewers could tell the divorce and Skyle’s recent arguments have affected the little boy.

Fans will also recall that during the Thursday, August 8 show, while Kyle ranted about Summer, Claire encouraged him to remember the better times he shared with his ex-wife when his anger began to bubble up. After all, they were once madly in love, weren’t they?

Y&R Spoilers: Claire Plays Reunion Match Maker?

It’s clear that Claire has a crush on Kyle, and that Mr. Abbott has feelings for Claire that may go beyond friendship; however, he also has his hands full with Abbott family drama, this custody battle with Summer, Glissade business, and likely unresolved feelings for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

While Kyle and Claire have had interactions, storylines have focused more on Skyle’s arguments, versus exploring any chemistry between Abbott and his nanny.

Could this arc take a swerve? Summer has been seen canoodling with her boyfriend Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) here and there, but again, Harrison’s child custody case has taken center stage, and, in many ways, fans have seen more of Skyle at odds than anything else.

Claire may push her feelings aside for Kyle and decide to try and reunite Skyle, for Harrison’s sake. After her talk with Harrison, does she lightly suggest some family activities so poor little Harrison isn’t as sad as he’s been lately? Maybe she tells both Kyle and Summer how Harrison is feeling.

Could she move forward and try and organize something for the family? Could she scheme (with good intentions) to set up a romantic situation for Skyle? To help remind them why they fell in love in the first place?
