General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny’s Medication Nightmare Ends – Big Payoff Promised!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) has been operating with his bi-polar medication tampered with for several months now.

Originally, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) coerced Sonny’s pharmacist to alter one of Sonny’s medications so that he was only receiving about a quarter of his prescribed dosage.

Later, Ava Jerome (Maura West) discovered the med switch but instead of saying anything, she blackmailed the pharmacist to completely replace Sonny’s meds with a placebo.

General Hospital Spoliers – Sonny Corinthos almost jumped off the roof

Things for Sonny came to a head once his daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and her unborn baby were injured during a confrontation with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

The baby didn’t survive and Kristina had to have emergency surgery. When Sonny tried to see his daughter, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) blocked his entrance and basically told Sonny that Kristina’s condition and the death of the baby was his fault. Sonny went to the roof of General Hospital and almost jumped.

GH Spoilers – Morgan Corinthos talked Sonny Corinthos down

Sonny saw a vision of his deceased son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) who convinced Sonny to live. Sonny was exhausted by this point so he visited with Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

Sonny told Kevin that something was wrong with him so Kevin will most likely have Sonny’s blood checked for levels of the medication. Once Sonny discovered the truth, he will likely figure out that Ava is behind his pain.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maurice Bernard promises some “great scenes” coming up!

It seems as though Sonny’s nightmare is about to finally help on a dramatic note. Maurice Bernard hinted during a recent episode of his “State of Mind” podcast that the climax of the medication story had already been filmed and that the scenes were really good.

That means we will most likely get a big confrontation between Sonny and Ava. In addition, Sonny has a lot to make up for with his loved ones. So stay tuned!
