General Hospital Comings & Goings Week Of August 19: Big-Name Return, Coming Back “Home”, So Long For Now

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that the land of Port Charles tends to be a revolving door, where characters come and go, only to return home again.

The week of August 19-23 will not only offer some shocking revelations, but it will also provide some interesting character returns.

GH Spoilers: Welcome Back, Ric Lansing!

GH spoilers note that actor Rick Hearst will reprise his Ric Lansing role the week of August 19-23. The character originally entered Port Charles in 2002, staying with the daytime drama until 2009, and then returning for a second run from 2014-2016.

Ric has a ton of roots in PC as the half-brother to mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the father of Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos). Still, it sounds like Ric’s return will center around his daughter, and her need for support in light of losing her baby.

GH Spoilers: Home Is Where The Heart Is …

GH spoilers for the week of August 19-23 note that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) will pay Home & Heart a visit.

This probably means that they’ll run into Haven de Havilland, played by the legendary Morgan Fairchild. The last fans saw Haven was April of this year, so it’ll be interesting to see the host of A Little Bit Of Haven, once again.

GH Spoilers: Goodbye Blaze

There were some heartfelt scenes between Blaze a.k.a. Allison “Allie” Rogers, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) this week, as Kristina encouraged her singing sensation gal pal to leave Port Charles and join the Miguel Morez’s (Ricky Martin) world turn.

The two broke up and Blaze left town, but not before firing momager, Natalia.

Actress Jacqueline Grace Lopez hopped on social media and confirmed that the Tuesday, August 13 show was her last, and left a heartfelt message to the cast and crew of GH, as well as the soap’s fans. Lopez joined GH in 2022.
