GAF Makes Changes To Cameron Mathison And Candice Cameron Bure’s First Christmas Movie, What Has Changed So Far?

Great American Family spoilers reveal that Cameron Mathison and Candice Cameron Bure are making their first movie together and here is what fans have to look forward to. Of course, the movie is a romcom and here is what we know about it so far.

Candice Cameron Bure And Cameron Mathison Are Filming

Candice and Cameron have done movies together before but this new film, announced by The Futon Critic on Wednesday, is a new movie entitled, Home Sweet Christmas. In the movie, Candice plays Sophie Marlow. Sophie is an attorney who specializes in successful mergers and acquisitions. Sophie resides in Waynesbridge, Washington.

Sophie considered this home because when her uncle passed away, he left her he left 60% ownership of the Marlow Maple Meadows to her. This just happens to be a sugar maple forest where that Sophie hadn’t visited in years. Sophie immediately is transported back to her childhood where she spent time with her childhood friend, Sam.

Sophie is getting reacquainted with the property when she runs across Sam, played by Mathison, who has returned after learning that Uncle Henry left the other 40% to of the forest to him. Sophie and Sam will catch up and eventually the two of them will make a big decision about the property when they realize neither of them is ready to let it go.

GAF Spoilers: When Will Sweet Home Christmas Premiere?

Although Sweet Home Christmas has been announced to be a part of Great American Christmas 2024, an actual release date has not been announced at this time. Of course, it is a little early for the Christmas movie schedule although it should be appearing soon.

Of course, fans are away that Hallmark, Lifetime, and Great American Family all announce some of their premieres early.

Cameron Mathison And Candice Cameron Bure Were Filming Another Movie

The announcement of this movie came as a shock because just this past July, it was announced that Bure and Mathison would be filming Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells. However, it was later decided that this movie would not go into production this year.
Although Mathison had shared in previous interviews that they were to start production in July and begin filming in August, the network didn’t offer an explanation of the sudden change. However, fans will still be thrilled to see these two in action.

Candice Cameron Bure And Cameron Mathison IG Updates

Candice and Cameron appeared on her Instagram to offer updates on their latest project. According to the Instagram post, this was day one of filming Sweet Home Christmas. Again, there was no explanation about the delay although some are speculating that it has to do with Mathison’s recently announced divorce.

This might explain the delay in filming but it certainly doesn’t explain changing the whole movie. Whatever the case, fans can rest assured that whatever the title, Bure and Mathison will give it their all.
