1000-Lb Sisters Fans Love Tammy Slaton’s Reality TV Nomination

Tammy Slaton was nominated to be in the running for a reality TV award, and her 1000-L b Sisters fans seem very happy for her. Mostly, they admire that the sister of Amy Slaton met her goal to lose weight.  However, they also recall her vulnerable and miserable days when she was trapped in a prison of her own making.

Tammy Slaton Lost More Than 400lbs

When Season 1 of the TLC show arrived, Amy and her sister were the main characters. Between them, they literally weighed as much as a car. At the time, it was Amy who supported her sister’s efforts to lose weight. Unfortunately, her efforts seem unappreciated. Grumpy, sulky, and given to tantrums, her sister blamed everyone but herself for her miserable life. 

Tammy Slaton didn’t qualify for gastric surgery when her sister did. And, their motivations were different. While Amy wanted a baby, Tammy didn’t seem to know what she wanted. Instead of losing weight, she became even larger, and her temper grew worse as her body expanded. Finally, she nearly died as she couldn’t expel the bad gasses from her lungs. That wake-up call turned her life around. So, a lot of 1000-Lb Sisters fans hope the TLC star wins a reality TV award.

The American Reality Television Awards in 2024 with be the 11th edition. Fans of shows and nominees can vote for their favorite stars each day until November. While competition is tough, there are different categories, and many people agree that the TLC star deserves to be recognized for being a stunning inspiration.
