The Young And The Restless Spoilers indicate that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) may experience an unwanted sense of déjà vu now that his young daughter Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’ Briant) is hanging out with the older crowd. Is Lucy’s friendship with Faith Newman turning into a Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) revamp story?

Cassie Newman Grew Up Too Fast

The Young And The Restless Spoilers reveal that Cassie went from being a sweet child into a rebellious teen, as some do. Cassie began to lie to her parents, and she wanted to hang out with older kids instead of those her age. Daniel was one of those kids and their association eventually led to Cassie’s death.

Cassie was grounded because of her rebellious streak. Cassie was always a good girl, but she wanted to fit in with her friends.

However, cutting classes and talking back to her parents was not a good thing. Cassie lied to her parents saying she was going to a movie but sneaks out to a party instead.

Cassie, much like Lucy, had a crush on an older student. Cassie found Daniel passed out at the party and decides to drive him to the Newman Ranch to the home he shared with his mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

However, Cassie crashed the car causing injuries to herself and Daniel. Both of them had to be rushed to the hospital.

Neither Cassie nor Daniel remembered the crash so it was assumed that Daniel was the one who was driving. Cassie remembered that she was driving and goes to find Daniel to tell him the truth.

Nick later finds her and takes her to the hospital where she died. Cassie did tell them part of the truth about the accident before she died.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Could Lucy Romalotti Meet A Similar Fate?

Now that Lucy is trying to fit in with the in crowd that Faith hangs out with. What is Faith were to get drunk and need a way home. Could Lucy offer to drive her and wreck as well?

Is this the reason for having Lucy be so attached to Faith all the sudden? Will Daniel find himself in Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow’s shoes?

There is obviously some reason that Lucy has learned all about Cassie and what happened to her. After all, Lucy is a lot younger than these girls.

Lucy wants to know everything about Faith’s family as well. Is all of this leading to a new crash storyline with Lucy getting hurt or killed? Will Faith blame herself if something were to happen to Lucy?
