The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal there will be a new Will Spencer come August 1, in the person of Crew Morrow. Crew is the son of The Young and The Restless’ Joshua Morrow who plays Nick Newman, and he’s the spitting image of his dad at his age.

However, once Will returns to town, there may be some tension brewing, so brace yourself for more than just warm fuzzies! In an interview with TV Guide, Morrow discussed his new role on B&B, which is filmed near where his father works.

Joshua Morrow started as Nick Newman on Y&R, about the same age as Crew is now, so Crew had no reservations about his new soap opera job with Dad nearby.

The younger Morrow admitted that “it still doesn’t feel real” to have landed such an incredible opportunity and is grateful for the chance to fill Will’s shoes on the show. He is fully committed to giving his all to the role.

When it comes to what lies ahead for Will in Los Angeles, Morrow shared some intriguing insights and predictions about the upcoming challenges.

Following Morrow’s insinuation of Will’s homecoming being a bit turbulent, he highlighted Will’s strong sense of pride and his deep affection for his mother, possibly more than his father.

While Morrow did acknowledge Will’s overall love for his family, it seems like he will be taking Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) side in any upcoming conflicts.

Reading between the lines, it’s clear that Morrow may resent Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for focusing on his new family with Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).

Will might be secretly hoping for a reconciliation between Bill and Katie, paving the way for a potential reunion in the future.
