Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lauralee Bells Talks Cricket-Danny’s Return & “Happily Ever After”

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that while many fans were sad to see Christine Blair and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) head out of Genoa City, it was on a happy note with the lawyer ditching her work to follow her musician boyfriend as he tours around the world.

Good news for Cranny fans, as Lauralee Bell recently revealed to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) that the Rockstar and The Bug are back in the studio, and the lovebirds will be seen on the show in July; however, how will Red feel about all this?

Y&R Spoilers: There’s A ‘Brand-New’ Storyline For When Cricket & Danny Returns

Lauralee tells SOD that she was told about a concept, and while she doesn’t know the details of it all, both she and Damian thought it was a “great idea”. Ms. Bell notes the storyline will center around a brand-new experience for both characters.

She adds while she doesn’t know the ins and outs to it all yet, “ … We have faith in the creative process and we know that the idea is really fun.

And we’re always up for a fun story versus a courtroom drama or a sad thing. So, we will try and elevate this to as much fun as we can have, on camera and off.”

Y&R Spoilers: The Phyllis Summers Factor

Still, while there’s something new and fresh for Danny and Christine around the corner this summer, one thing that might not change is Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) disapproval of their relationship (mainly just because she wanted Danny for herself).

Bell tells SOD, “I would assume that the longer we’re happily away together, Phyllis has a choice; she either forgets about us because she’s a very ‘out of sight, out of mind’ person, or us hopping around the world and living the life just irks her even more. Either way, she will always be unpredictable.”
