General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Easton Just Announced His Exit

On the heels of the announcement that Jonathan Jackson will return as Lucky Spencer in the fall, Michael announced he had filmed his last scenes as Hamilton Finn.

He did not spoil how his character will leave, however, but his last several characters were killed off, as were Roger Howarth’s as Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt and Franco Baldwin.

The Deadline article about Jonathan’s return as Lucky mentioned several past GH characters would return-the only ones not killed off were Michael and Roger’s One Life To Live characters.

Around fourteen to fifteen years ago after One Life To Live and All My Children were cancelled, a company called Prospect Park tried an ambitious online resurrection of the shows.

Michael and Roger had been hired on GH as their OLTL characters, John McBain and Todd Manning-but Prospect Park sued; that’s how Silas Clay and Franco Baldwin came on GH.

GH Spoilers: Two For Two

Michael and Roger have each played two characters on General Hospital, besides their OLTL characters of John McBain and Todd Manning. While we don’t yet know how Hamilton Finn will exit, Silas Clay, an invented brother of Michael’s Port Charles character Stephen Clay was murdered. Likewise, Roger’s characters of Franco Baldwin and Austin Gatlin-Holt were murdered, and if the actors are coming back, third new characters probably won’t be well received.

However, with the Prospect Park company long out of business and the lawsuit no longer in force, they could come back as John and Todd.

The PCPD can always use another detective, and besides, the storyline about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) murdering John McBain’s sister was dropped, and Todd could take over the Invader.

General Hospital Spoilers: Four Days Before His Exit, Michael Posted An Instagram Video With Roger

Four days before his GH exit announcement, Michael posted an older Instagram video with Roger where the two were kidding around and acting silly-could that be a hint, rather than a coincidence?

On a side note, Trevor St. John who played Todd’s no longer identical twin brother Victor Lord Jr. was written out of The Young and The Restless. Michael, Roger and Trevor are good friends outside of work and have made many outside projects together-Trevor said he has some in the works.

Could Port Charles and GH see two former characters and a new OLTL character appear in a few months? Might McBain, Todd, and Victor Lord Jr. all be in the works to appear?
