Michael Easton Says Goodbye to Soap

General Hospital keeps making headlines for its cast changes. The ABC soap is keeping fans on their toes. Michael Easton announced his exit from the show. The 57-year-old shared an emotional post on Instagram. He posted a video of his goodbye message to the fans.

“Thank you for your kindness. My heart is filled with love and gratitude,” he said. “I’ve loved every minute that I’ve been here. I want to thank the entire cast and crew for allowing me to share this stage this past 10 years. Most importantly, I want to thank you all for the kindness and the love you’ve shown me and my family. I won’t ever forget you.”

Michael Easton said goodbye to the General Hospital family. This came as a shock to the fans. They didn’t see it coming. His Instagram post received over 22,000 likes at the time of this writing.

“I can’t imagine where they will go with this storyline that makes any sort of sense (besides the longest rehab stay in history) but it’s a real shame,” one fan wrote.

“I’m confused as to why they would make us fall so in love with Finn’s family and then destroy it in a week. Your work will be sorely missed but we’ll all be keeping an eye out for you. Thank you for 10 awesome years of TV!” another fan commented.

Michael Easton plays the role of Dr. Hamilton Finn, who’s struggling with sobriety. Fans wonder where this leaves his character. He will probably go to rehab outside of Port Charles. Easton informed his fans that he filmed his final scenes on the show. He assured fans that he “loved every minute” he’s been on the show.

Easton previously played the role of Finn ever since 2016. He previously played another doctor named Silas Clay in 2013. That character was killed off and the actor returned as Finn.

General Hospital is messing with fans’ feelings. Bryan Craig announced his return to the soap opera after eight years. Jonathan Jackson also revealed he would be back as Lucky Spencer.
