Days Of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) threats could bring Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) bold move. She may retaliate by spilling the Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty) paternity tea to his real father, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ Thwarted Eric Brady’s Plan

When Eric tried to stop Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) from fleeing Salem with her secrets, EJ intervened and thwarted Eric’s plan.

As a result, Sloan escaped, therefore keeping EJ’s secret-he knows Eric is Jude’s birth father-although Sloan dropped a hint on her way out that there was more to the story.

EJ is even keeping this truth from Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker), obviously concerned if she knew he’d lose her to Eric, realizing that the pregnancy happened from the drugged pastries.

Nearly a year and a half ago, Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) sister, Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) was involved with and controlled by Sloane’s younger brother Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman).

Under Colin’s influence, Talia, who was working at Sweet Bits, made a batch of drugged pastries that caused many in Salem to go out of control-including Nicole and Eric!

DOOL Spoilers: Melinda Also Knows The Secret

But Melinda also knows that secret, and even though Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) suspects she’s involved in the baby switch, she likely lies her way out.

Rafe knows that Melinda was handling the adoption for Sloan and Eric, so it’s not a very long jump to that conclusion; but Melinda would throw anyone under the bus.

To Melinda, her survival is paramount-the only reason she kept Sloan’s secret is so she wouldn’t throw her under the bus, which would cost her law license!

With her recently being drafted back to her position as District Attorney by Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) after firing EJ for conflict of interest, it’s even more important to Melinda.

So when EJ comes making threats about exposing her role in the baby swap, she is pushed to fight fire with fire and a preemptive strike!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Melinda Will Not Go Down!

Melinda will not go down and she’s determined to come out on top, so she beats EJ to the punch when he threatens to expose her.

All EJ has is a DNA test and she knows it-nothing with her name falsifying anything, Sloan destroyed all of that. Melinda knows the thing EJ fears is Eric finding out he’s Jude’s birth father, not EJ and that EJ is the one who helped Sloan leave town-and probably financing her.

So before EJ can expose Melinda to Rafe and the police, she exposes EJ’s lies to Eric, telling him Sloan told her the truth although her name isn’t on any proof.

Eric and Nicole have an emotional talk about Jude as they go to Salem Memorial Hospital for a paternity test after Melinda makes her preemptive strike against EJ!
