General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Is Furious With Dante After Mixed Signals!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) isn’t the same person who arrived in Port Charles years ago. That version of Sam was a con woman who liked to live on the wild side.

That’s why her relationship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) worked so well. Jason was definitely a kindred spirit, until he wasn’t.

Sam and Jason had a son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and Sam’s perspective began to change. Danger continued to follow Jason everywhere he went so Sam made the difficult decision to end her relationship with Jason.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall mourned Jason Morgan

Jason disappeared a couple of years ago and was presumed dead. Of course, Sam mourned Jason’s death but eventually found love again with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna).

Dante it the exact opposite of Jason in many ways, but he had one thing in common with Jason. As a cop, Dante put his life at risk every single day in the line of duty, But Dante didn’t go looking for danger the way Jason did. So Sam supported Dante in his career although she feared for his life every day.

GH Spoilers – Dante Falconeri was shot in the line of duty!

Dante was shot earlier this year and almost died. He was in a coma for many months but eventually pulled through. Dante returned to the force after recuperating but soon had second thoughts.

Dante worried that his relationship with his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) would cause a conflict of interest. He decided to quit the police force, and Sam admitted that she had been waiting a long time for Dante to quit the force because of the danger.

But when Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) found out, she wasn’t having it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane convinced Dante Falconeri to stay!

Anna had a rebuttal for every reason Dante presented to quit. In the end, Dante agreed to remain on the force. This likely won’t go over well with Sam.

Although she had never said anything previously, Sam put her heart on the line when Dante planned to leave the force. She allowed herself to get her hopes up and Dante has decided to end up remaining with the force. Look for Sam to have a hard time keeping her feelings to herself.

If Dante stays with the force, Sam may resent the fact that he chose his career over her feelings. Their seemingly perfect relationship may start to show some cracks.
