General Hospital spoilers hint Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may have told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to toss his bottle of bourbon, but we know there’s more where that came from.
It’s unlikely that Finn is just going to throw in the towel on his recovery as easily as it appeared he did last week, but it’s also unlikely that he’s going to bounce back so quickly.
He has a tough rough ahead navigating what life looks like without his father. Adjusting to him no longer being in his apartment will be painful.
Reconciling with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may bring immediate relief, but it probably won’t last now that he’s broken her trust the way he has. Will Elizabeth need to go outside of the relationship to seek her own source of comfort?
Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) didn’t part ways with Elizabeth on the best of terms. She turned him in to the police for holding a pregnant Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) hostage, and he didn’t take it too well.
Admittedly, Elizabeth felt guilty that her compliance and cooperation also got her off the hook entirely. But she had three children to worry about and had already lost Finn at the time due to helping Nikolas and getting wrapped up in his scheme.
But now that the dust has settled and they’ve both had time to reflect, Elizabeth might be the next person to show up on Nik’s visitor log.
Will it be that easy to rekindle something so long lost though? One might assume that if she cozies up to Nikolas again — even inside a prison — that it may be enough to do her and Finn in.
Some fans are also murmuring that the reason Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) hasn’t hooked up with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since his return is because Jason is going to start spending some time with a different ex.
While it looks more recently like that ex might be Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), we can’t really shake the feeling that no one wants to see Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) call it quits.
Rather, it could be that Jason starts focusing a bit more on his other son, Jake Spencer (Hudson West). Will that bring him closer to Elizbeth than we’ve seen him get in years? Could Jason be the safe haven Elizabeth needs after Finn has left her flapping in the wind?
Of course, no longtime GH fan is really interested in seeing Jason settle down with Elizabeth. That hasn’t worked since they were practically kids. Besides, she can never stop herself from lying to the guy.
Instead, some fans are gossiping that it may finally be time for Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) to come home — and back to Liz.
Will his return come at the perfect time to mend Liz’s wounds inflicted by Finn and make her second guess her relationship and why she’s wasting time trying to make it work with him?
