This movie stars Amanda Schull and Brendan Penny and it is all about a small town where there is a big murder. Let’s find out more.

What To Expect

Hallmark describes this movie as, “Small town life turns out to be a real killer for a retired Army doctor.” The murder in this small town is something that this doctor can’t shake.

Dr. Rachel Hunt has taken on the position to be the town’s doctor, but she will soon discover that there are plenty of secrets here. Once an Army surgeon, she lost her husband in combat and decided to move with her two children to this small town.

One of Dr. Hunt’s patients, Ross dies and she is horrified by this since she told him that he had a “clean bill of health.” She decides that she needs to take a deeper look at how he died and realizes that it could have been murder.

She will try her best to get the local authorities involved, but she is met with a lot of hesitation. The local detective, who is also charming and attractive, Jack Quinn, tells her that he wants to help. He isn’t quite convinced that murder was involved though.

Will She Solve the Mystery?

While trying to do her own sleuthing, Rachel realizes that she may be in too deep. She has started to put her own life at risk and now she isn’t so sure that this small town is where she wants to be.

Will she and Jack be able to solve this mystery without anyone getting hurt or is it too late? Is there a chance at love for Jack and Dr. Hunt too? There will also be a touch of love when it comes to Hallmark.

Fans of the Hallmark Mystery network can find ‘Family Practice Mysteries: Coming Home’ on May 17 at 9 p.m. EST. The movie will also be streaming on Peacock 72 hours after the premiere on Hallmark Mystery.
