From General Hospital to Hallmark: GH Alum William DeVry Appears In Whitewater Romance

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease it’s time to preview former GH fave William DeVry’s new Hallmark movie, “Whitewater Romance”. William played Julian Jerome from 2013-2020 when the character was “resurrected” after being in witness protection.

General Hospital Spoilers: William Announced He Was Shooting A New Movie In 2023

In October 2023, the beloved daytime star, William deVry, left us all intrigued with his exciting announcement, especially since fans were anxious to see him.

He tantalized us with the news of his involvement in a new movie, leaving us eager for more details, not divulging a name or a network or if it was going to be on the big screen.

Although he only treated us to a captivating behind-the-scenes photo, showcasing himself alongside the talented cast and crew on location, he couldn’t help but tease us with the words, “I think you guys will enjoy this one.”

Our curiosity was piqued, and we can’t wait to witness the magic he’s been a part of. Now we can confirm the film has officially been named A Whitewater Romance and is set to debut on the Hallmark Channel Saturday, May 11, at 8 p.m. ET.

GH Spoilers: Rocky Mountain Rom-Com

The plot revolves around Maya, portrayed by Cindy Busby, as she joins a corporate getaway in the Rocky Mountains and crosses paths with Matt, portrayed by Ben Hollingsworth.

Despite starting off as rivals, they eventually join forces and develop an unexpected bond, after starting out competing in a raft race, and urged to let their heart be their compass.

Also from the same sneak peek video, Cindy Busby aka Maya talked about that and “Whitewater Romance” and a variety of other subjects. Get ready for a captivating love story set against the stunning backdrop of majestic mountains in this upcoming romantic film.

General Hospital Spoilers: William DeVry’s Past Works

Besides the role of Julian Jerome on GH, in 2003, deVry achieved great success when he landed the role of the wicked Michael Cambias on All My Children.

Following that, he mesmerized audiences as Storm Logan on The Bold And The Beautiful. Since exiting GH, deVry has appeared in shows like NCIS: Los Angeles and Quantum Leap as well as in the 2023 Lifetime holiday movie Christmas at the Chalet, opposite Teri Hatcher.

He’s had a little better luck with the Lifetime and Hallmark movies, and his primetime television appearances as far as the characters he’s played. All three of his soap characters, Michael Cambias, Storm Logan, and Julian Jerome were killed, with Storm shooting himself!
